Emergency on US Gulf Coast as Typhoon Gordon nears

A state of emergency has been declared in Louisiana and Mississippi as Tropical Hurricane Gordon roars in opposition to the united states Gulf Coast.

With most sustained winds close to 65mph (105km/h), Gordon is anticipated to make landfall afterward Tuesday, the National Hurricane Heart (NHC) warned.

Gordon is expected to strengthen and change into a hurricane.
