An SNP MP has insisted he’s going to continue to appear at the RT channel despite his party’s Westminster chief describing it as a “tool of the Russian state”.
Angus MacNeil said the best solution to counter propaganda was to head on and provides a “counter message”.
Talking on Radio Scotland, he added: “many of us have problems with the BBC, however i’m speaking to it at the moment.”
He didn’t immediately answer whether or not he believed that Russia was answerable for the Salisbury nerve agent attack.
Mr MacNeil used to be speaking to the BBC’s Excellent Morning Scotland programme the day after the SNP’s Westminster leader, Ian Blackford, advised the programme it used to be transparent Russia were liable for an “act of state terrorism” and known as for harder sanctions to be imposed.
