Twelve other people were injured after an explosion at a chemical factory close to Cairo’s airport, Egypt’s state information company MENA says.
They were hospitalised, however the severity of their injuries isn’t but known.
An army spokesman said the blast was once caused by “high temperatures” at a gas storage facility.
