President George HW Bush has again to Washington for a final time, to lie in state at the US Capitol.
His coffin had in advance left Texas to a 21-gun salute and used to be carried to Washington on board Air Force One – briefly renamed Unique Air Challenge FORTY ONE in homage to the overdue president.
Mr Bush will lie in state in the rotunda until his funeral on Wednesday, a day of nationwide mourning.
His frame will likely be buried at his house in Texas alongside wife, Barbara.

Mr Bush, who served because the forty first US president between 1989 and 1993, died overdue on Friday in Texas on the age of 94.
