The Us-led coalition says it “may have” carried out an air strike in a space of japanese Syria where ratings of civilians had been reportedly killed on Thursday.
Fifty-4 people, together with a minimum of 28 civilians in addition as Islamic State (IS) staff militants, died in the strike on a village close to the Iraqi border, a monitoring group says.
The raid hit a meeting at an ice manufacturing facility near the village of al-Soussa.
Syria has blamed the united states for the incident in Deir al-Zour province.
“The coalition or our partner forces may have carried out strikes in the vicinity of al-Soussa… the day past,” coalition spokesman US Army Col Sean Ryan advised Reuters news agency.
