The writer of the brand new York Occasions has advised President Donald Trump to not proceed labelling newshounds “enemies of the folks”, announcing it could “result in violence” against the media.
AG Sulzberger was once reporting a meeting with Mr Trump on the White House.
The meeting was intended to be off-the-record but Mr Sulzberger said Mr Trump broke this with a tweet on Sunday.
In his tweet, the president stated he had had a “very good and really fascinating” meeting with Mr Sulzberger.
“Spent a lot time speaking concerning the vast quantities of fake Information being put out by the media & how that pretend Information has morphed into word, ‘Enemy of the People.’ Sad!” the tweet learn.

“I warned that it used to be striking lives at risk, that it was undermining the democratic ideals of our country, and that it was once eroding one in all our country’s greatest exports: a dedication to unfastened speech and a unfastened press,” he said.
The Ny Instances writer said he used to be not asking Mr Trump not to criticise his newspaper if he was once unsatisfied with its protection but asking him to “reconsider his broader assaults on journalism”.
