Govt workers in a borough of Alaska have turned to typewriters to do their jobs, after ransomware infected their pc programs.
A spokeswoman for Matanuska-Susitna mentioned the malware had encrypted its e mail server, internal programs and disaster recovery servers.
She mentioned group of workers had “resourcefully” dusted off typewriters and had been writing receipts through hand.
The borough is in the strategy of rebuilding its techniques.

Ransomware is malicious computer software that encrypts or scrambles knowledge and demands a fee for it to be restored.
The borough stated “nearly all” of its 500 pc computer systems operating Windows 7 and 10 have been infected and ONE HUNDRED TWENTY pc servers were also affected.
