Jarrod Lyle: Australian golfer dies aged 36

Australian golfer Jarrod Lyle has died of cancer aged 36, his circle of relatives has confirmed.

The golfer made a choice closing month to finish his remedy for cancer and input palliative care.

He died on Wednesday, after spending his ultimate days in the state of Victoria with family and buddies, Golf Australia said in a press release.

Lyle up to now overcame acute myeloid leukaemia in 1998 and 2012, ahead of announcing it had back final year.

The golfer, who reached a profession-top 142nd within the global, won twice on the Nationwide Excursion in 2008 and closing competed in 2017.

he is survived through his spouse Briony, and daughters Lusi, six, and Jemma, .

“It breaks my middle to tell everyone that Jarrod isn’t any longer with us,” Ms Lyle stated in a statement.

“Lusi, Jemma And I are filled with grief and now should confront our lives without the greatest husband and father we could ever have wanted for.”

His dying has brought on tributes from pals and other golfing figures.

Ms Lyle mentioned her husband have been “beaten” by way of give a boost to in his ultimate days.

“He asked that I supply an easy message: ‘Thanks for your improve, it supposed the sector. My time was quick, but when I’ve helped other folks suppose and act on behalf of these families that suffer thru most cancers, hopefully it wasn’t wasted.'”
