Ai Weiwei Beijing studio demolished ‘without warning’

The dissident Chinese Language artist Ai Weiwei says the government in Beijing have demolished his studio there.

In a sequence of clips on Instagram appearing the former factory being torn down, Ai said that he were given no notice of the decision.

Another of his studios in Shanghai was destroyed in 2011. He also mentioned at that point he had received no warning.

The 66-12 months-antique has lived in Germany given that leaving China in 2015. he’s a powerful critic of China’s government.

On Instagram Ai mentioned “farewell” to the space, which he had used considering that 2006.
