Genoa bridge collapse: Italian prosecutors check out 20 folks

Italian prosecutors are investigating 20 folks on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the highway bridge cave in in Genoa remaining month.

They include managers at Autostrade, the company which managed the bridge.

40-three people have been killed within the disaster, while a 220m (656ft) component of the Morandi Bridge all at once plunged 45m, along with dozens of vehicles.

It triggered a fierce debate concerning the safety of Italy’s infrastructure.

Autostrade in keeping with l’Italia, which manages almost half the country’s motorways, has no longer commented.
