Writer Neil Gaiman has come to the defence of a comic book-e book author after some on social media wondered her revel in.

Speaking to Marvel in August, Ewing said of the series: “Ironheart symbolises what happens whilst you combine unbelievable energy and can with a sense of love, care and a true need for justice.

“Riri and i have so much in not unusual and it’s been so a laugh to put in writing her to this point. not only as a black lady but specifically as a black girl from Chicago and an ungainly nerd.”
