Police in The Big Apple are looking a couple who were given engaged in Times Square on Friday however misplaced the hoop down a grate.
CCTV photographs show the romantic proposal going incorrect and the pair unsuccessfully looking to retrieve the piece of jewellery.
After seeing the pictures officers managed to rescue the ring, clean it up and now wish to find its owners.
They have positioned out a plea for the man and girl to come back ahead.

The pictures used to be taken just before middle of the night on Friday night time and was launched through police in a while after.
It does not show the instant the man pops the question but we do see him getting down on one knee in an try to search out the hoop.
His fiancée (even supposing we do not realize if she in truth said yes) puts her fingers to her face when she realises what has happened.
She crouches down next to him, trying to assist however they are unsuccessful.
The guy then lies down on the ground via the grate, trying to reach the piece of bijou however again they’re unable to retrieve it.
The good news is that officers from the Ny Police Division clearly have a romantic aspect and, extra importantly, access to the grate, so may get it out somewhat easily.

to boot as the footage of the couple they launched an image of the wiped clean-up ring on their Twitter account with the caption: “Right Here’s a photograph of the hoop our officers recovered (and wiped clean!) Name 1-800-577-TIPS or DM @NYPDTips if you understand the satisfied couple so we will return it to them!”
Sadly, staff at the NYPD Deputy Commissioner’s Place Of Work say no one has come ahead but but they’re hoping to reunite the couple with the ring and find out if she in fact did say sure.
