US megastar Oprah Winfrey has paid tribute to her mom, Vernita Lee, who died on Thanksgiving.
“thank you excited about your sort words and condolences,” she wrote on Instagram. “It offers our circle of relatives great convenience understanding she lived a good lifestyles and is now at peace.”
Vernita Lee, who was EIGHTY THREE, died at her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in keeping with a circle of relatives statement.

Lee, who worked as a housekeeper all through her life, used to be born in Mississippi in 1935 and gave beginning to Winfrey while she was 18 years old.
She and Winfrey’s father, Vernon Winfrey, never married.
