Russian police are keeping three teenage sisters accused of getting stabbed their father to demise in a Moscow rental block.

The Khachaturyan sisters, aged 17, 18 and 19, have confessed to the homicide, Russian media document. they say their father Mikhail tormented them.

The sisters are quoted as saying he stopped them studying, threatened them with weapons and saved them like slaves.

They are in custody until 28 September. The father’s frame was discovered on 27 July.
