Brian O’Callaghan-Westropp, who was on honeymoon along with his spouse Zoe Holohan, become separated seeking to get away the flames in the beach hotel of Mati.
In a press release, the two families stated they have been “deeply saddened” by his loss of life.
They also requested for privateness “as we grieve and as Zoe makes her recovery.”
Orla O’Hanrahan, the Irish Ambassador to Greece, showed the death of Mr O’Callaghan-Westropp in an interview with RTÉ.

“Our sympathies and hearts exit to his circle of relatives at this time,” she said.
