A suicide bomber has killed at least 70 folks and injured about 120 in an attack on a marketing campaign rally in south-western Pakistan, police say.

They say a provincial candidate was once a few of the useless within the town of Mastung, close to Quetta.

Earlier on Friday, a bomb assault on another election-related gathering killed 4 people and wounded greater than 30 within the northern town of Bannu.

There are fears of additional violence prior to general elections on 25 July.

On Tuesday, a suicide bomber hit a marketing campaign gathering in the northern city of Peshawar, killing 22 other people – including a provincial candidate.
