The European Courtroom of Human Rights (ECHR) has condemned Russia’s arrest and imprisonment of the feminist punk band Pussy Rebel in 2012.
In a ruling, the court held Russia had violated 5 articles of the conference, calling the case in opposition to the band “specifically severe”.
Pussy Riot had been arrested after acting a protest music in a Moscow cathedral.
Two band members served 16 months in jail after their conviction.
The activist crew are opposed to Russian President Vladimir Putin. On Monday, Russia jailed 4 individuals of the band for disrupting the sector Cup Final with a pitch invasion.

The court dominated that Russia had devoted “more than one violations” of the eu Convention during the arrests and sentencing in 2012.
