Russia lambasts Poland over bikers ban

Russia has summoned the Polish envoy in Moscow to protest in opposition to a ban on Russian bikers from getting into Poland as a part of International Conflict commemorations.

Russia’s foreign ministry stated it used to be a “cynical” transfer geared toward intentionally harming bilateral ties.

Poland said it acted to verify “the protection of public order”.

The bikers – together with the professional-Kremlin Evening Wolves workforce – need to experience through Poland as a part of a Moscow-Berlin travel to mark the end of WW2.

In a press release (in Russian), the Russian international ministry stated Warsaw’s decision “mocked the reminiscence of those killed preventing towards fascism” through the war.

The hashtag “Dorogi Pobedy” (“Roads of Victory”) is among the top 10 trending on Russian Twitter for the reason that mid-afternoon.
