British and Australian tourists die in Portugal ‘fall’

A British girl and her boyfriend had been found dead on a beach in Portugal after it sounds as if falling from a wall, the Foreign Administrative Center has mentioned.

The girl is mentioned to be Louise Benson, a wildlife conservation worker in her 30s and firstly from Bristol.

She and her Australian spouse have been discovered on Tuesday in Ericeira, a the city 25 miles (40km) north of Lisbon.

Local media document the government as saying the pair may have fallen as they recovered a phone or took images.

Portuguese officials mentioned the couple were concept to have been at the 30-metre (100ft) top wall prior to they died.

A International Workplace spokeswoman mentioned: “we’re in touch with local government following the loss of life of a British girl in Portugal and are providing reinforce to her family.”

Australia’s international affairs division mentioned they have been aiding the family of its citizen.

According to Australian media, the couple left Australia together in January for a holiday and had lately attended a friend’s wedding ceremony in Portugal.
