Audi says the diesel engines are equipped with emission tricks. The German Federal Motor Vehicles Agency (NWA) found that this device was found especially in vehicles with a V6 TDI engine. The company had to recall 127 thousand luxury vehicles on this incident.
Audi’s CEO Rupert Stadler says the emission scandal ended the year we passed, that all engines were inspected and manipulated. However, the company recalled a total of 127,000 vehicles including A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q5, SQ5 Plus and Q7 models.
The company spokesman Toni Melfi said that the company has studied all the diesel concepts in detail to avoid any irregularities, but that it is different for Audi models with KBA’s V6 TDI engine. Audi is expected to offer a solution for V6 TDI motorized models recalled to KBA till February 2nd.
